PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education) is considered a vital part of the curriculum at Holy Trinity where we firmly believe in the importance of the education of the whole child.
As a school, we follow two schemes of work which we feel fully promote our school vision of 'Enjoy, Achieve, Belong'.
SEALs (Social Emotional Aspects of Learning) contributes to the development of social and emotional skills in children. This work can be incorporated into other areas of the curriculum, taught discretely by teachers and taught when specific situations arise in class.
The second scheme of work is the Cambridge PSHE scheme, which effectively combines those aspects of PSHE, Citizenship, Financial Capability and Personal Safety in schools that are not covered by the SEALs programme of study.
